Friday Favorites {12.9.16}

Oh hey there Friday, you came quick this week! We have a busy day planned with errands and Ella's soccer class and later tonight I'm having some family over for an ornament DIY party and I can't wait :)

Now on to my favorites of the week

{ONE}

Some of my favorite bloggers hosted a Holiday Home Tour link up and I showed off our Christmas decorations - you can see it here if you missed it :)

{TWO}

I shared my new favorite Christmas graphic tee the other day - I plan on wearing this on repeat this month :)

{THREE}

Brayden and Ella wrote their letters to Santa the other night and they are for sure a favorite of mine.

Ella drew what she wanted and in her picture is a doll house, a hatchimal, a bow and arrow, a tea set and a Cinderella doll

Brayden's letter is cute and I made sure he included other stuff than just what he wants - typical kid right there :)

I so want to DIY this card holder my gal Lindsay made - how cute is it!?! I think I'm going to attempt this weekend if I have time

DIY Christmas Card Holder - a place to hang all of your merry mail!:

Favorite funny of the week:

My friends Mom posted this on facebook and tagged her, I about died because my friends and I always used this method to straighten our hair in 8th grade and freshman year - even when we discovered flat irons we always said nothing got our hair straighter than an iron LOL - Please tell me we aren't alone in doing this???

Have a great weekend!!

  1. Happy Friday! An ornament DIY party sounds like so much fun! I really love your mantel and those stockings and all the kids art. I'd be wearing that t-shirt on repeat too! It's perfect for the holidays. Hahaha, seriously laughing out loud and someone just stopped in the hallway at my job and looked at me weird, you are not alone with the iron, at all! I used to do the same thing with my hair. My friends and I would take turns because nothing got it straighter than an iron! Have a great weekend!

  2. Oh my goodness so much to say!! First of all, I LOVE the letters to Santa from the kiddos... there's just something about little kid handwriting that is so stinking sweet.

    Second of all, thanks for the shout-out! I'm glad you like it and I can't wait to see how yours turns out if you make one! EEK!

    Finally, I totally used to iron my girlfriends hair back in like 6th or 7th grade. Looking back, I'm just so thankful that I never burned her hair off. Lol.

    Have a great weekend, girl!

  6. Haha! I have really thick hair, and I used to get my hair ironed like that all the time! Before the good flat irons came out, I didn't have a choice! The cheap ones just didn't work! :)

  10. I can't wait to go and check out all of your Christmas decor! Their letters to Santa are adorable. Do you keep them each year? I adore Lindsay's card holder and want to make one as well! I can't wait to see if you get one made! I never used an iron, but I know so many that did.
