Anyway, here's some thoughts that are on my mind lately and they just all happen to be Christmas related
If I never hear the song "Frosty the Snowman" again, I'll be just fine. Miss A is obsessed with it and seriously demands it every time we are in the car, and once I play it, she demands it again, and then repeat. If I don't put it on she cries and yells and well even the Frosty song is better than listening to that
I took Brayden out of school 1 hour early yesterday so we could go see Santa (so happy I did too because even going early & having an appt, it was a long wait) - I had to laugh because earlier in the week I told him I was calling him out that hour and saying he had an appt, so the other night he told me and Rick how he told his teacher he was leaving early on Wednesday because he had an appt, then he paused and said, to see Santa. We were dying! At least my child doesn't lie :)
Speaking of Santa, I saw 2 moms on Facebook this week say how their 5 & 6 year olds don't believe anymore and that they had the talk with them. Umm 5 & 6!?!?! If my 6 year old said he doesn't believe then you bet your bum I will be telling him he's wrong. I am really hoping to make it to age 8 or 9 with my kiddos. I can't stand everything happening earlier and earlier these days.
Ella is at the perfect age right now for Christmas and I'm loving every minute of it. Brayden has never been our overly excited kid for anything, but Ella, that girl shows enthusiasm like I've never seen and I freaking love it. Every day she wakes up so excited to check for our elf, so excited to eat her advent chocolate, so excited for Christmas (which she thinks happens every time it snows), so excited to see Santa, and the list goes on. She literally jumps up and down and screeches with excitement. I cannot wait for Christmas morning with her!
Have a great Thursday, we are going to try and stay warm!

Thoughts on Thursday - Christmas Edition
Morning friends! It's going to be a bitter cold one here today, were in the negative and some schools have shut down because of the weather. I haven't heard if our schools are closed yet, but I'm hoping they're not. I'm suppose to volunteer in Ella's class today and we we're going to bake food for next weeks holiday show, I really don't want to miss that!
