braydens first day of kindergarten

Well, the big day finally came, my little man had his first day of Kindergarten on Monday and despite only one person crying (give you a hint, it wasn't him) it went great! I am so proud of him for being so brave and ready for school.

We started our morning with pictures, duh.

Little sister was so excited to join in with big brother :)

My handsome Kindergartner!!

For the first day, I wanted to drive my little man. The hubs couldn't get off work in the morning to join us but my Mom came with and my little guy was definitely happy about that!

I love how Ella use to never want to take a picture and now you can't take one without her, it's so cute!

Where did the time go?!

Brayden and his teacher, Miss Jerzyk

We walked Brayden to the back of the school (that is where the walkers/drivers go) and he stood in line until it was time to go in.  I could tell he was on the verge of crying as we said our goodbyes but he held it together. Me on the other hand, not so much. Thank goodness for sunglasses because I didn't want him to see my crying. We gave one last hug and kiss and he was off....

I was very emotional watching him walk away from us. I just can't believe this time is here. I'm not sad about him starting school, I think it's going to be great and I can't wait to watch him thrive, but I do get sad at just how fast the time goes. I'm a pretty sentimental and very emotional person so these moments to me are such a BIG deal.

Since the hubs wasn't home in the morning we took more pics when he got home

Brayden told me he had the best first day and he had so much fun at school.  That made my heart so happy to hear!

Now today is my little guys first day riding the bus! Another emotional event for me! We decided it was best for him to take it and it will be a lot easier on me for sure, but I'm still unsure about it.  I plan on following it this morning after he gets on, LOL. I'm hoping he loves the bus just as much as he loves school.
