Weekend Recap - Full of Fun Edition {5.1.17}

Happy Monday! Wow what a weekend we had. Since we did so much I figured it was best to just recap the weekend rather than our week (which was pretty uneventful anyway)

Let's start with Friday. It was Brayden's schools annual Fun Fair at night but before that I headed over to his school around 3:30 to help set it up. When I was done, I came home and we all left to go have some fun! I'm so glad we got there right at 6 because it wasn't crowded at all. By 7:30 it was getting crazy and that was our cue to stack up on prizes and head out. Rick and the kids went home and I stayed to help out some more (so much help is needed for these things!) I then caught up with some Moms and got home by 9. We watched The Americans and I passed out by 10, ha ha.

Saturday morning we were up and ready early - Rick & Brayden had to leave by 8am for baseball pics followed immediately by a game, while I had to take Ella to her dance rehearsal and pictures and of course Avery came with. It was hectic but we made it and then headed home to all go together to my nieces communion. We then went back to my sister in law and brother in laws to celebrate that, and her birthday! It was a fun filled day for sure

Sunday was finally a relaxing morning! I had some coffee, worked on my Facebook group, then took Ella with me to the grocery store while Rick took the other 2 to Home Depot. Before I knew it, it was time for us all to get ready for Ella's recital!

She was soooo nervous when I went and dropped her off in the dance room, she wouldn't stop crying, which reminded me of last year. I was so worried again that she may not perform, but of course she proved me wrong and came out and rocked it!!

Afterwards we wanted to take her to dinner and asked what she wanted, she said she wanted pasta and meatballs at home, but we thought that wasn't so fun so we opted for Olive Garden. Avery was going on day 2 of no nap so she was out seconds after we left the recital. To my surprise she actually slept the entire time we were at dinner! I seriously felt like it was a mini vacation. That girl really keeps us on our toes!

All her pretty flowers!!

And now it's 8:30 Sunday night and I'm ready to collapse! How was your weekend?

xo,
Lizzie

  1. Our one son always loved Olive garden so we frequented there a lot, LOL. What a wonderful weekend sweet lady, the fun fair look so great. Our elementary school always had a thing called the spring fling and it was a blast. It ran from the time I was in elementary school and is still going today. What a precious little Dancer you have there! Happy Monday angel!
