~Finish our 2016 Family Photo album. I started using Mixbook a couple of years ago and at the beginning of each year I start making our album from the previous year. I realize that it's May and I'm not yet done with 2016 but I'm so close. This month it will get done!
~Clean up the garden beds and do some planting. I have done a little clean up but there is much more to do. I always like to plant our veggies on Mother's Day with the kids help and also some annuals. Oh and getting some more mulch down would be nice too.
~Work on a new summer art plate with the kids feet. My SIL told me about Shay's awesome new plate she had made and I love it! I am going to try and attempt to re-create that on my own, maybe not entirely the same but I do love the feet as flip flops. The hubs is a pretty good artist so I'm thinking if I can get the feet down, he can do the rest - thanks babe :)
~Finish our master bathroom! This one really has nothing to do with me, but it's still a goal for the month. Now that all the pipe work/electrical is done, Rick is now remodeling our master bathroom. Yeah we had 7 days of work go on here to it just look like nothing happened, LOL. Anyway, now he has to tile the shower, tile the floor, install a new vanity, mirror, etc. I can't wait for it to be done and I bet neither can he!
~Get Avery & Brayden's new beds in. We are giving Avery Brayden's twin bed and converting the crib into a full bed for Brayden (he has the biggest room). I really hope this one gets done this month then I can focus on decorating their rooms!
5 things, I think that is more than enough LOL. What do you have planned for May?
Great goals!! I hope to finish up our garden this week! We love playing in the dirt around here!
ReplyDeleteI think five goals is very attainable and you will feel good to accomplish them! ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo what kind of veggies do you plant? I used to always plant my garden over Mothers Day weekend too. This year I am lacking serious motivation.
ReplyDeleteFive goals is definitely manageable! I always set an unrealistic amount of goals, so I put an end to posting my goals. I hope you manage to accomplish everything on your list!
ReplyDeleteGreat goals! I usually plant over Mothers Day weekend but just couldn't hold myself back this weekend. We are supposed to have temps in the 80s and sun so I planted mine last weekend...then the wind and rain came blowing in like a hurricane. I think everything made it. I loved your goals for the month!
ReplyDeleteSounds like some great goals going on! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI love that you make a family photo album every year. I always said that I was going to do that but I still have yet to start. I'll have to look into Mixbook... I haven't ever heard of them.
ReplyDeleteWhat great goals! You're going to have a wonderful May! Getting our gardens in order is on my list too!
ReplyDeleteI want to redo my bathroom now as well! I can't wait to see your reveal. And I need to update my girls baby books. I am soooooo far behind on those. Luckily, I can look at my blog for info to put in there. Ugh.
