Here's 10 ways you know you've turned into your Mother
- You call each of your kids the other ones name and you don't get it right until you've gone through everyone else
- You say things like "Money doesn't grow on trees!" and "Do you think I clean for my health!?"
- You start to freeze everything (seriously, I use to think my Mom and Grandma were CRAZY and now I'm doing this)
- You won't drive when it's dark
- Your purse contains enough crap to make it through another round of Y2K
- You like to be alone (yep, I get this one now)
- You are a borderline hoarder
- You worry about everything
- You look and feel at clothes before purchasing to make sure the quality is good and there are no holes
- You cry at everything, even commercials
Even though I said I'd never become my Mother, I am totally OK with it. My Mom really is my best friend and I'm glad I share these quirks with her
Baha ha! Thanks for the Tuesday laugh. I ALWAYS inspect clothes before purchasing them. ALWAYS. Other than that I don't think I am my mom, yet.
ReplyDeleteSo funny!
ReplyDeleteFunny because it's true! He he :)
DeleteHaha! Yes! These sooo made me laugh, and I agree with you!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not alone! :)
DeleteSo.Much.Truth.
ReplyDeleteThese are hilarious!
Yes, so much truth, it's a little scary ha ha!
DeleteHahaha!!! Yup...I'm slowly becoming my mom...oh man...here we go!!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteALL OF THESE. ALL OF THEM! I always lovingly made fun of my mother for all of these things, but deep down I always knew I'd turn into her! And I'm not even mad about it... she's such a great lady!
ReplyDeleteYes to all of these. Especially checking out clothes for holes. I never did that before. Now I have to make sure they are quality. I say these all the time and LOVE alone time. I never got that before. Or when your children say mom, mom, mom, mom over and over again. I did that to annoy my mom and now my kids do it to me. Haha.
ReplyDeleteYep! Yep! Yep! X 10. I'm such a crier!
ReplyDeleteYes! Yes! And Yes! All of this.
ReplyDeleteI am so my mother, too! It's amazing!
