Now let's get into this weeks confessions...
I confess....
I am SO over having this stupid cold. I have had a cough and congestion for over 2 1/2 weeks and finally went in to the dr on Tuesday just to be sure it wasn't something more serious, but of course it's just viral.
That going to the dr with my 2 littlest was seriously pure torture. Within minutes of being in the waiting room Avery spilled an entire cup of water, filled the entire bottom of the water jug cooler up with water and was playing in it, then smacked her face on my purse which re-opened a wound inside her mouth she got at gymnastics earlier that day so she was bleeding everywhere... I seriously just wanted to cry.
I don't miss much about working but going to appointments alone is probably at the top of the list
We are ready to start our basement remodel (finally!) and now the contractor has pushed us out a couple of weeks - and it's super frustrating. I hope we don't get pushed back even more
Brayden and Ella's Halloween costumes came and it's getting me more and more excited! (look, I said something positive) :)
I'm leaving this short and sweet since we have a packed morning before Brayden gets off school - I'll see you tomorrow for Friday Favorites :)
Every stinking time I go to the Dr. thinking I must have something more than a cold... it's just viral. Last time that happened I swore I'd never go back :P. Three day weekends with the family are the best! Have fun y'all!
ReplyDeleteOh no about your appointment! I hear my mom friends talk a lot about how much they miss doing x alone. Target, appointments, bathroom! lol
ReplyDeleteI was at the doc yesterday with two little ones by myself too and it's so tough!! We have also been trying to fight off some type of cold stuff for the last month or so, but I'm beginning to think it is more allergies than anything. Which is what the pediatrician suggested too!

ReplyDeleteUgh, I hope you feel better soon. Momming and being sick is just no fair. Moms shouldn't be allowed to get sick.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that she busted her lip again. That is the worst. And I hate going to appointments with my kids. It is torture. What are you guys doing to your basement? Are you going to document the process?
ReplyDeleteI always feel like when you are sick life comes at your full force and won't allow you to rest and recoup. Hope you feel better soon. I mean you have to at this point, right?
