#wisdells

This past weekend we headed up to Wisconsin Dells with my Mom, sister, brother in law and nephew.  It was so nice to go on a mini vaca with my family and we had so much fun!

Brayden had Friday off of school so it was nice to be able to head up there Friday when the town wasn't very crowded.  Our first stop was Buffalo Phils for lunch - they have trains going all around the restaurant which bring your food/drink to you but when they aren't delivering food they come around with cute little characters on them.  The kids loved it!!

My favorite thing from this place though? Their bloody's.  Whoa, were they good

When we were done eating we played a little at their arcade (arcades are everywhere in the Dells!) and of course the kids loved it!

Then it was time for some swimming :) 

The rest of the night we ordered pizza, hung out in the room and went back to the arcade.

Saturday morning we headed to one of the best breakfast places in the Dells - Paul Bunyans.  They serve all you can eat family style and it was so delicious! This place usually has a line out the door if you go during peak season but we were able to walk right in and sit!

Saturday morning we headed to the outdoor theme park our hotel had.  The kids were pumped to go on some rides but we quickly found out that most of their attractions were closed. Total bummer but the kids didn't really seem to mind (or more that they didn't really understand, lol)

Saturdays lunch was a bloody since I was still full from breakfast.  Another awesome one!

We went and walked down the riverwalk and had dinner at the River Walk Pub (great food!)

My sister was staying at our same hotel but instead they rented a treehouse that was across the street. We headed over there after dinner and had a fire and hung out.  It was so fun!

Saturday was our last night and we headed back to the hotel room after the fire but we still had tons of tickets to redeem at the arcade so my Mom, me and Brayden headed back there.  We of course played some more games and there was this GIANT claw machine that we had already tried a couple of times but Brayden begged to play it one more time, so we did, and he won!! I love this picture, he looks so wired and slap happy.

Our trip can be summed up with lots of eating + swimming + going broke at the arcade.  It was so fun to get away for a couple of days and the kids are still talking about our vacation.
