First, there was her birthday letter on Monday, and yesterday I shared more about celebrating our sweet girls big day. And in case you missed it, her party was a couple of weeks ago.
But today I am sharing all about her starting 3yr old preschool! It's a little strange that she will be 4 the entire year of it, but hey, that's what happens when you decide to come out 7 weeks early and miss the cut off by a few days :)
Tuesday was the big day and last week we went and met her teachers. She has one of the same teachers Brayden had when he was in 3's and I really liked her. The other is new to us but Ella seemed to connect more with the one we already knew.
I had a feeling Ella would be my child who wasn't nervous or scared at all to go to school. She is very independent and is eager to do all the things her big brother does. The weeks leading up to school she would be so excited when we talked about it, so come Monday night when she started crying and saying she didn't want to go, I wasn't sure what I was in for the next day.
Well Tuesday morning came and she ran downstairs to me and said "I'm so excited to go to school today!!"
I got her all ready and of course had to take her outside to snap some pics!
After we got Brayden on the bus, we headed to Ella's school. My Mom met us there so that was fun for Ella!
Ella's little best friend Ava is in her class and she was so happy once she showed up! She ran right up and gave her a big hug! These girls are just the sweetest!
The girls were really excited to go to class which definitely made it a little easier to leave but I did have some moments of tears. I just can't believe we are now in the school years with my little Ella!
Walking in..... so excited to have eachother!
At her cubby!
I got to come back a little early since they were celebrating her birthday. We brought vanilla ice cream (Ella's favorite!) for the treat

Putting the candles on the cake
Oh my goodness, she is a cutie! Hope she's been enjoying the big week!

So sweet! I love that her first day of school was made even more special by getting to celebrate her birthday with her class too. She is going to have a blast this year.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. So very sweet. I love the photos of her going in and doing her thing. Love the vanilla ice cream instead of cake. That always wins in my book.
