We had gorgeous weather all weekend which was awesome. Saturday started with Rick taking Brayden fishing first thing in the morning. When they got back, I took Brayden to a friends birthday party. It was a pool party and a perfect day for it.
Saturday night we went on a family walk/bike ride then home to relax. Sunday I went with my mom to our annual towns fest and did the craft fair first. We walked around for a while then Rick and the kids met up with us and it was on to rides and games! The kids had a blast and it was fun, but so so hot. And so so crowded.
It's crazy that I now have a child big enough to go on the bigger rides. Like this superman one, you lay down and it takes you up and down and all around. I wasn't sure he would go on but he did and he was all smiles the entire time.
After hours of at the fest we headed to our friends for a BBQ. They were all heading to the fest afterwards but we were just too tired. We took the kids to swim for a while at my in laws then it was home for a movie and bed.
Monday was Ella's birthday! My sweet girl turned 4 which I still can't believe! We started her day with donuts then it was off to the annual Labor Day parade. We can walk there which is so nice! Rick put down blankets the night before to secure our spot and our friends/family met up at our house and we headed there around 9:30. Of course as soon as we get there Ella tells me she has to poop. Kids, they have the best timing don't they? So back to the house we went and got back in time to enjoy the parade. It was a hot day and Ella was kind of tired at the parade but Brayden and Avery were really into it!
all she wanted was a pogo stick - she hasn't put it down since |
