These days

We all know the saying... The days are long but the years are short...

Since staying home my days are filled with making breakfast, lunch, & snacks. They are spent walking my son to and from the bus stop.

They are spent reading book after book. They are spent playing dolls and building with Legos, They are spent crafting, coloring, & making forts. They are spent kissing boo boos and changing diapers.

They are spent teaching lessons and good manners.

They are spent going to the library, going on play dates, going out to lunch, going to the park, & running errands.

They are spent listening to endless tantrums, whining & fighting.

Most days I am downright exhausted.

But you know what? These are the best days. The absolute best.

I know without a single doubt that when I'm old and grey (lord willing I'm still around) I will look back on these days of my life and know it was all worth it. Nothing will ever replace these days/months/years I am home with my kids and I will be forever grateful that I got to experience this.
