Disney World 2017 - Recap Days 1 & 2

Happy Tuesday friends!! I've missed this little space of mine but it was sooooooooo nice to unplug from everything last week while we were in the happiest place on Earth!

Our trip to Disney World started last Sunday, we had to get the kids up around 3:30am to head to the airport for our 6am flight. They were tired but so excited!!

Once we landed we took the awesome Magical Express to our resort and we were so happy to hear our room was ready! Check in usually isn't until 4pm so having our room ready by 10am was AWESOME! We got all settled in and relaxed for a while before heading to our lunch reservation at the delicious Beaches N Cream!

After our late lunch, we headed to Epcot (we walked right there from the restaurant!) and started walking through the countries. Rick and I made sure to grab a yummy drink to start it off. We wanted to get in line to meet Jasmine but we heard she wasn't there that day, bummer, so we headed off to our first FP+ (fastpass plus) It was for Frozen Ever After and it was just me and the girls since the boys were going to ride Test Track (Epcot tiers their FP+ so you can only have 1 from each category and since both these rides are tier 1, we had to split up) after the rides we got in line to meet Anna & Elsa!!

I love seeing my kids faces when they meet characters - even Brayden gets so excited and shy (which is funny because he kept telling us how everything in Disney was fake)

Avery was always so goofy when we would take family pics!

After meeting the princesses we met Baymax then headed to the Finding Nemo ride and ended our night with a ride inside Spaceship Earth (the giant golfball) - Me and the hubs agreed that next time we could probably skip Epcot, there's just not a ton for kids but I am glad they met the princesses and we got to do the new Frozen ride.

We headed back to the hotel for bed and the next day were up early to head to Magic Kingdom!!

We arrived to the park by 8am and were able to do a ton of rides before our 9:30am Cinderella's castle breakfast.

I just love the Little Mermaid Ride! Disney does such an amazing job on the details!

Brayden got picked to be Maurice (Belle's father) in Enchanted Tales with Belle and Rick was a knight! Avery got picked as an extra and was a Pepper shaker and Ella was too nervous to participate. This is a must do at MK!!

More rides!

The breakfast inside Cinderella's Castle was awesome! I had never been so it was a first for me as the kids. They gave the kids their own wands and sword and all the princesses come up to  your table as you eat.

We found out that Ella doesn't really love roller coasters (even the littler ones) but she still tried them, Avery was sad she couldn't go on the bigger rides and Brayden is a huge thrill seeker! (which kind of shocked us!)

After breakfast we rode more rides and met more characters but with the weather being so nice we wanted to get out of the park for a swim break - we left a little earlier than originally planned but it worked out because we all had so much fun at the pool!

I think Ella went down the waterslide no less than 100 times :)

At night we headed back to MK and went on more rides!! I love being at the park at night, it just feels magical :) We did leave before the fireworks and watched them from the viewing deck at our hotel (we stayed at the Contemporary which is walking distance to MK)

For some reason Ella freaked out right before this picture with Tink - we all didn't understand what the heck happened, gotta love kids LOL

And that's a wrap for day 2! Hopefully I'll be back to recap days 3 & 4 tomorrow :)
