Anyway, since the sickness hit mid-week last week I don't have much to document for our week but our weekend was pretty fun (despite being sick, thankfully the worst was behind me at that point)
Friday night we carved our pumpkins in the garage. This year we made Brayden scoop most of his insides out because hey, he needs to learn this at some point. He was of course grossed out and asked for gloves several times LOL
Ella carved her pumpkin entirely by herself! She didn't wait for anyone to draw something she just went for it and I must say, it turned out adorable.
Avery was all about jabbing the little pumpkin carving knife into the pumpkin but that was about it - I helped her eventually and we made an actual image inside of just tons of stab marks
Here they are all done!

When we were done the girls came in and hung with Rick and Brayden and I hung in the garage watching the rest of Fuller House and drinking kid wine out of these cute little martini glasses I picked up on vacation
We had so much fun!!
Later that night we dropped the kids off at my in laws for a sleepover and we headed out with friends to see a comedy show. His name was Bert Kreischer aka The Machine and I had never seen his stand up before so I had no clue what to expect - - OMG this guy was hilarious!! Even though my voice was almost gone from being sick and I couldn't taste a thing, it was still such a fun nightt!

Sunday we went and got the kids in the morning and then Rick was taking Brayden to a friends party only to get there and call me and say there was no party - I looked back at my phone (the original invite came through as a text a month ago) and saw that yep, it said Saturday, NOT Sunday so yeah, we missed it. I felt terrible and texted the Mom right away who was very understanding. Rick and Brayden dropped the gift off then we all went by my in laws for a little. We came home and met my Mom who came over to do crafts with the kids. They had a blast!
The rest of the night we relaxed and watched some Halloween movies. It was a nice ending to a good weekend!
