Happy Thursday!! Today it's time for another monthly installment of Girl Chat! This months topic is all about favorite Halloween costumes!
I have a confession: before kids I didn't really care much about Halloween (I know, crazy right!?) I mean as a kid I loved it, then as a young adult I just didn't really care for it. But now that I have kids, it's come full circle and I'm back to loving it!
With that being said, I have 2 costumes as a family that are my favorite!
A few years ago we were the Flinstone Family and I loved how it turned out! I was so excited to have Ella be Pebbles because when I was her age, my Mom made me Pebbles too! I made all our costumes (besides the dogs) and everyone looked great :)

The other family costume that is my favorite was actually from this years Halloween party we went to while we were in Disney. We were characters from the show Gravity Falls (it's been cancelled but they show reruns all the time on Disney XD) the kids love that show and I knew that would be perfect for us to be in Disney! I'm so lucky Rick is a good sport, he rocked his costume!!
Here's the show characters - Mabel & Dipper are twins, Brayden & Ella dressed up as them. Waddles the pig is Mabels little pet so that's what Avery was (LOL) Rick was their Uncle Stan and I was their friend Wendy

We had SO much fun dressing up (and I'm sure most of that was because we were in Disney World!!)

I love the Flinstones costumes!! You all looked so good! Your costumes for Disney were perfect and I bet it made navigating the park a little easier. I love seeing the throwbacks too. Look how tiny Brayden was! Beautifully Candid

ReplyDeleteOh my word! These costumes are the best. I love the Gravity Falls! Bummer they cancelled the show, but at least there is re-runs! We've never done a family costume and I think we need to change that.
