Friday Favorites {8.18.17}

I can't believe another week has flown by. This is one I didn't want to go so fast as Brayden starts school on Monday. I can't even believe I have a 2nd grader!!

Anyway, we better move on before I turn this into a sob story about my kids growing up too fast LOL

Here's some favorites of the week:

I blogged about a super fun and easy DIY marble run the kids and I put together - if you missed it, you can see it here. We are still having tons of fun with this!

Last week while browsing Etsy, I stumbled across this shop.  She has the most beautiful prints for sale and they are all her own work! How cool is that?! I love that you are getting an actual photograph, rather than a digital file.

And how cool it was to see the owner is also from Chicago! Now I just need to find a spot for one of these pretty pictures in our home!

Did you see my giveaway I have going on? It's for a piece of jewelry from the shop Malibleue - her stuff is amazing!!!

Go here and at the bottom of the post is where you can enter. Good luck!!

I booked a photographer for fall family photos but now I'm reconsidering doing an end of summer photo shoot - I just can't decide! What would you do? I'm so indecisive LOL

I know for Fall we could get pics like this

I have zucchini coming out of my you know what from our garden and I've been looking for something new to make. I've had enough zoodles to last a lifetime so I'm taking a break from that and going to use some to make this yummy looking zucchini lemon bread this weekend. YUM! I hope it turns out!!

This Lemon Zucchini Bread combines two favorites in one delicious loaf of bread! Topped with a sweet lemony glaze, it's a great way to sneak in extra veggies and the BEST way to wake up!

Linking up with:

  1. Happy Friday beautiful babe! Lemon zucchini bread sounds absolutely delicious, send a loaf my way, LOL! I hope you have a beautiful weekend my sweet friend!

  2. Happy Friday! Tough call on the pictures...I love them both, too! :) When we had them done last, we picked Fall and ended up having to postpone for over a month because our photog had gotten sick and was from out of town (not far, just an hour, and she was my friend's sister so we were flexible), but we ended up having kind of dreary December pictures lol. They still turned out great! But I would love beautiful bright ones like either the Fall or Summer ones you posted!!

  3. If you get fall pictures you can get the leaves and also the bright sunlight at the end of the day!

  4. Happy Friday! Oh that's a tough one with the photoshoot. Both are great seasons. I would probably base it on if you want to display any pics around your house and what season would go more with your decor lol. I've had lemon zucchini bread before and it is delicious! Enjoy your weekend mama! Beautifully Candid

  5. Happy Friday!! That zucchini bread looks amazing!! It's inspiring me to get in the kitchen!! Haha! Have a great weekend!

  6. Fall is just the best time to take photos. We are due for some good ones this year. I need to figure something out soon.

  7. Summer or fall pictures is such a toss up! You could probably get sunny bright pictures on a fall afternoon though and also some in the leaves.I hope you have a great weekend.

  8. You need to make zucchini chocolate chip bread too - yum! I can't believe next week is back to school. I have a kindergartener and a 2nd grader...what??? xoxo ERIN

  9. Those photos are really cool! I would love some like that too. The marble table look oks sooo cool!

  10. That marble run fun looks like a blast. I love when photographers sell their work. That print is amazing!! I saw take the end of summer photos yourself and hire the photographer for fall. I am such a sucker for fall photos. The colors are unbeatable. But, either way you can't go wrong.
