Weekly Recap {7.10.17}

Happy Monday friends! We had the best weekend and I was super sad to see it go but all good things come to an end right?!

Here's a look back at our fun short week & weekend!

Wednesday I needed the day to recover from all the 4th festivities and our super extra long last weekend. I got lots of things done around the house and played outside. After dinner we went to Menards to pick up some chairs and Brayden insisted on bringing his new wallet to buy something. He was so excited and of course ended up buying Powerade and candy #kidlife. We tried to explain to him about spending responsibly and I was happy to see he didn't blow his whole $10 :)

Thursday morning started off with Ella wanting Cheerioes, Strawberries and cheese & crackers. She is so my kid LOL

I took the kids to the trampoline place and we all jumped for 2 hours straight!! I was exhausted but also happy about the workout :)

After jumping we headed to my in laws to swim. It was so hot and so nice to jump in the pool!!

I had to snap a picture of Ella with her purse. She's been bringing it everywhere lately and it's adorable.

Ella has also been really into playing store. Brayden was the cashier this night and Ella was shopping. I LOVE when my kids imaginary play!!!

Friday night after dinner Ella asked me to take her to the store to get Brayden a birthday present and since I needed to go to Home Depot I figured she could find something there.  She too got a new wallet (compliments of Rick) and wanted to spend her own money on his gift. She ended up finding him a shiny new red key and a key chain holder and then proceeded to tell him as soon as we got home #bigmouth

Saturday was a super productive day!! I did tons of gardening and cleaning up in the backyard and the hubs got some stuff done too. Brayden's buddy was over and they both helped Rick build their lemonade stand! I plan on doing a whole post on it but here's a preview of them working hard :)

Saturday night we were all exhausted from our long day of getting stuff done and running errands. We ordered some food and relaxed the rest of the night.

Sunday was Brayden's birthday party for his friends and it was so much fun!! I'm also going to post about that separately.  After the party, we swam at my in laws, came home to paint the lemonade stand, and went back to my in laws for more swimming and dinner.

At night I did some Disney research for our upcoming trip (cannot wait!) and I stumbled across this tank - I think I need it!!  Lilo & Stitch is one of our faves and we are eating breakfast at Ohana so it only makes sense!!

Ok now it's back to a full week of summer fun!! :)

  2. Such a fun weekend. It cracks me up when kids get so excited over presents that they instantly blab about them. We had a trampoline place open, but haven't visited it yet. We'll have to do that soon.

  11. So much fun! The kids and their wallets are too cute. I love how she ran home and told him about his gift and that she wanted to spend her own money on him. I can't wait until little nugget is big enough to go to the trampoline place. And, I cannot wait to see the kids lemonade stand! Beautifully Candid
