Ella's Preschool Holiday Program

Good Morning! I am moving extra slow today due to some sick kiddos around here. Ella woke up in the middle of the night crouping really bad and in the middle of her coughing fit she threw up in her bed :( We had to take her outside to breathe in some cold air and thankfully we had an extra steroid at home to give her because she was having difficulty breathing. I cannot wait for croup to be a distant memory! Then our sweet Miss A spiked a fever yesterday and was not feeling good at all. She was up most of the night as well. Here's hoping my girls feel better today!

Anyway, a few weeks ago Ella had her first school holiday performance and I couldn't not document it on the blog.

Leading up to the day, Ella would come home singing all the songs, some Brayden even remembered from when he was in preschool. I just knew Ella's perfomance would be night and day compared to Brayden's - it's just their personalities.  When Brayden was in 3yr preschool, he covered his eyes the entire time during the holiday show and even shed a few tears. They had to put him at the end of the line so he could be near the teachers.  Ella was front and center of the audience.

I made sure to curl her hair that day before we left and she looked so beautiful! (and so grown up!) She wasn't nervous at all once we got there and we took our seats to watch. My Mom and MIL came to watch too - Rick wasn't able to get off work but I video'd the entire thing.

I'll let the pictures do the talking. I was so proud of my girl, she did great!!

  1. Oh no! I am so sorry the kids are not feeling well. I hopped on Facebook this morning and there were so many posts about kids being sick. Apparently there are a ton of nasty bugs going around. Ugh! It’s so wild how siblings can be so different when it comes to stuff like that! Mason is much like Ella, excited to perform. She looked so cute and I am sure she was amazing during her performance.

  3. Oh no! Not croup again! That stuff scares the daylights out of me. I hope she's feeling better soon!

On another note, she looks darling in that little sweater dress! I would like one of those for me! Haha.

  4. I love her little dress. So cute. Croup is the worst. Sutton got it a couple months back and it sucked. Thankfully they can take that steroid. Here is to a healthier weekend ahead.
