Weekly Recap {11.21.16}

Happy Monday!! Who else is looking forward to a short week with Thanksgiving thrown in there!? Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays so I cannot wait to celebrate!

Here's a look back at our week - we were blessed again with amazing weather but that has come to a screeching halt. We are now in the 30's and 40's and winter coats and hats are a must.

More weeknights were spent playing with magnatiles, the kids just cannot get enough

We went on lots of walks/scooter rides/bike rides this past week. We were really soaking up the nice weather that we knew was on its way out!

Ella worked on some worksheets - she loves doing them. She will say to me "Mom, when Avery takes her nap can I do homework?" Bless her little heart!!

Ella is our night owl and our early riser. She joins me during the weekday mornings at the kitchen table and cuts/colors. She is always busy :)

We spent so much time in our sandbox trying to build sandcastles and mountains.

Thursday while Ella was at preschool, Avery and I ran some errands and did some shopping. We also stopped at McDonalds for a hash brown for her and coffee for me. It was the perfect morning

Ella had her soccer class Friday morning. She is so cute and is really doing well. I love watching her take direction and follow through. Miss Avery so wishes she could be part of the class!

Friday after Brayden got home from school, we headed to the park since we knew it was the last really nice day. We swang, ran, played zombies and had so much fun

Friday night we played Pie Face - this time we played the original. I actually ended up returning the showdown version because it wasn't as fun as we thought it would be (the kids loved it but me and the hubs thought the original would be better) - the kids LOVED this version even more and we were dying of laughter the entire night. Actually I should re-phrase that - Brayden and Avery loved this version, Ella on the other hand was crying hysterically when we said it was her turn. Crazy girl

Saturday was dance class for Ella, we ran some errands, did stuff around the house and me and the hubs went out to eat with some friends. We ate a brazilian steakhouse and it was amazing!

Sunday we went to Ikea to look around at couches and other stuff and of course the kids were off the walls. I found some pencils and paper and that kept them busy for 5 seconds :)

We made some rice krispie treats later in the day then I went out to Michaels during Averys nap. It was insane there and I probably waited in line for 30 minutes to check out. Crazy!

 The rest of the night we just relaxed, which is just what I needed.

  3. What a great week. Oh IKEA, I love you. I had a VERY short lived trip there on Wednesday and already can't wait to go back. So I made an escape to Hobby Lobby on Saturday OMG, it sounds just like Michaels. It was SO stinking busy. Tis the season I guess.

  4. You are so brave for giving IKEA a go on the weekends. I always go on Wednesdays - less people and I don't want to lose my mind.

  7. Sounds like so much fun! Our weather took a turn for the worst and we are in the same boat. We had one more amazing day on Saturday then it was downhill from there. That is awesome that Ella loves her worksheets so much! Have a great Thanksgiving week! Beautifully Candid
