Making History

Holy sh*t you guys, the Cubs won the World Series!!!! Did you see the game?! It was seriously amazing and gave me a heart attack every 5 minutes but they did it, they made history last night!

I am struggling this morning so this is all I can put together, but really, this is all that matters today for us here in Chicago!!!

    SO, so happy for the Cubs! I tried to stay awake, but crashed during the rain delay. Now I am so bummed that I did. WHOA!! So awesome!

    It was a huge celebration in our house! We aren't in Chicago, but my husband's whole family is from there, and he still has family there. The love of the Cubs goes back a few generations, so this meant so much to him and his Dad, and sister and Uncles.. it was crazy!

    We were so so excited for you guys! We don't normally even watch baseball, but I knew that I wanted to watch history being made! And what a game it was!!!! I know you guys are all partying like crazy today!

    Such a special time!! Unfortunately, I didn't make it through the entire game (I woke up to pee at 11-something and thought, seriously this game is still going??), but was happy to hear the Cubs pulled through! I bet your city is electric right now. I feel like the Royals celebration went on for months last year!!

    I'm not a baseball fan by any stretch of the imagination but I live in IL too and have friends who are die-hard Cubs fans. I actually watched all seven games of the World Series because I wanted to see history being made. Glad that the Cubs won!
