Friday Favorites {11.17.16}

Happy Friday Friends! Another week has flown by and once again we had amazing weather. However, I think that's coming to an end as I see highs of 40's in our upcoming forecast. It's ok though, we have been spoiled this fall and I'm ready for more wintery weather.

I also stumbled across an old laptop that I thought didn't work anymore, but much to my surprise it does. I'm thankful for that because using the Ipad to do anything but browse Pinterest or play games is pure misery in my opinion

{ONE} - Christmas Gifts

This week I shared my gift ideas for little boys and little girls - you can see them below

For the girls, you can see it all here

{TWO} - Basement Remodel

Our basement remodel is coming along nicely and it's almost time to start decorating! Right now we are trying to decide on couches - do we do a sectional or a sofa and a loveseat?? I am leaning towards a sectional because it just seems cozier in my opinion but the hubby really loves the sofa/loveseat look.

These are the sectionals I'm liking, they are from Costco and while I love Costco I'm just not sure about buying a couch without sitting on it.

{THREE} - Aeropostale Deals

Aeropostale is having a huge sale right now (I think they may be going out business?) - all pants are buy 1 get 2 free! This is a great time to score some new jeans, like these, and you can get 3 pairs for the price of 1! Also if any man in your life need some new pants, it's a great time to grab some. I ordered the hubby some new jeans for Christmas (hopefully he likes them!)

These duffle bags are also super cute and could make a good gift!

{FOUR} - Hilarious Video

Have you guys seen this? I saw it on Facebook and was dyyyying! I'm surprised this has never happened to my Mom, she always used a stool to get my babies into their cribs

{FIVE} - Favorite Pins

I am always looking for more ways to wear my olive pants, I was so happy when I came across this pin!

love these olive pants. Only item I already own in these outfits is the denim jacket.:

How cute are these? I will probably never find the time to make but I thought they were super fun!

  1. Happy Friday! I don't even consider using the tablet for anything but pinterest or apps anymore. I really like both of those sectionals and wouldn't have thought to look through costco. Maybe see what there return policy is if you decide to go with them but don't like them. Thanks for the inspiration with the olive pants! I find myself wearing the same two shirts with mine so this is great. Ha! I'm right there with you. I love all of these fun baking ideas but time, yeah just not enough of it. Have a great weekend! 2. Ooooh definitely go with the sectional for the basement!! I want one in our living room SO BAD, but the space is way too small for one. I can't wait to see how everything comes together!

And yay for finding an old laptop that works! If I only had an iPad to work on then I'd never get any blogging done. Ha!

  3. We love our Costco sectional! It is not listed online. We bought it in the store - they get furniture in August and January. The quality is great and it is so comfy!

  4. I love the Costco couches. I love the second one the best because it has a chaise lounge area. Those are my favorite. I am so glad you found your old laptop. I hate writing posts on my ipad. I only do it when I travel and that is begrudgingly. Have a great weekend!

  5. We've always had a couch and love seat, but a few months ago we got a sectional and I LOVE it! I was super hesitant when we got it, but now I feel like I will never go back to a separate couch and love seat. Those Costco couches look really nice! My BIL and SIL got their mattress from Costco and they love it, so maybe the couches are great too!

  6. It would be REALLY hard to buy a couch without sitting on it. Oh man, not sure I could do that. Also I am totally convinced that I need some olive pants now and I am totally going to blame you.

  7. I love the idea of a sectional. My parents have one in their family room & I just love it. We used to have on in our basement, then we moved & our current basement isn't finished & we couldn't justify keeping it without a finished basement. I loved that thing. It was broken in & so comfy.

Heading to Aeropostale right now. I haven't been in that store or on their site in YEARS!

  8. I have a pair of maroon pants that I need to find new ways to wear. Maybe I'll steal some of the suggested ideas from the olive pant collection.
