Weekly Recap (6.6.16}

Happy Monday!

Here's some life lately rolled into our weekly recap!


Tuesday the girls and I hung outside since it was really nice again.  These two just crack me up! They are so close already and I love it.

Last Wednesday was Brayden's last day of school.  This was the card he wrote his teacher.  He is just the cutest!! He LOVED his teacher so much and he kept saying he was sad school was going to be over. I didn't realize how sad until I got him off the bus and he immediately burst into tears! I asked him what was wrong because I thought maybe something happened on the bus but he replied "I am going to miss Miss Jerzyk, my friends and Kindergarten so much!" Be still my heart! It took him a good 5 minutes to calm down.

Just wow!

I did get him to cheer up with an ice cream sundae I had waiting for him :)

Going through his backpack for the last time as him being a Kindergartner was so emotional for me! I was tearing up at everything I took out.  I really can't believe how big my baby is.

 Earlier that day while Brayden was at school, I took the girls to the Carousel Room. They are just the cutest!

Thursday kicked off our first official day of Summer Break! We celebrated with more pool time and tons of water balloons!

Friday we had a 60th birthday party at the racetrack for my MIL.  It was a beautiful day and we all had so much fun!

Saturday was my birthday! I woke up to a decorated house and the hubby got my favorite breakfast from our local diner, plus my favorite coffee and I was good with just that!

But it didn't end there.  I got flowers, presents, handmade cards and some birthday interviews done by the kids.  I was spoiled for sure!

Later in the morning, Brayden had a make up swim lesson, then it was straight to baseball where he played really well!

  Before the hubby and I were heading out for a date, he and the kids sang to me.  They got me carrot cake (by request) and it was decorated so beautifully with TONS of candles!

We had our date night at none other than Hooters, LOL! It was my request, seriously. I just wanted some yummy wings and beer and they definitely have that.

Sunday the hubs went to play football in the morning and I took the kids to the store to get stuff for our upcoming little beach vacation.  They were all TERRIBLE in the store and I couldn't even think straight.  Then we get home and they're all fine. #whatthehell

Then Brayden said "hey Mom, take a picture of me kissing it's butt!" LOL Ok kid, whatever you say!

We went by my in laws later to celebrate my MIL's actual birthday and the kids loved swimming in their hot tub (which is always more of a cool tub for them)

Sunday night I went and watched my niece in her dance recital.  It was the cutest thing and she did soooo great!!

Then I came home and crashed! Today we are heading to a local smaller zoo and the kids cannot wait!
