Friday Favorites {3.3.17}

Happy Friday Friends!! I am recovering from my umbilical hernia surgery and let me just tell you, that surgery is no joke!! The dr led me to believe it was no big deal but coming from a Mama who has had 3 c-sections, this for sure takes the cake. Learning how to not use my abs for everything has been extremely difficult. I'm so grateful for the hubby to literally pick me up and put me down for everything and I mean everything

Today my Mom is coming over to help and then the weekend Rick will be on solo parent duty and hopefully by Monday I will feel much better. Although the whole no lifting for 6 weeks thing is going to be hard with a toddler.

Anyway, I really wanted to say thank you to all of you who reached out to me and sent me your prayers and well wishes. That seriously meant so much to me and really did help! This is just another reason I love this little blogging community!

Ok, time for some Friday Favorites - hopefully everything comes out making sense, mind you I'm still taking some hardcore pain meds LOL

These markers are our new favorite!! I first spotted them at my SIL's house a while back and thought they were just markers in some kind of holder, turns out they come this way. The kids are loving them so far and since they are more than just a pack of markers, I have made sure they know to PUT THE CAPS BACK ON WHEN THEY ARE DONE

Good Friends/Family are another favorite of my week!

My friend Ashley and I hung out Tuesday night for some pre-surgery drinks and girl chat and she brought me a little care package! It was so thoughtful of her and she filled with all stuff I love - a magazine, a word search, chapstick, lotion, mints, gum, my favorite candy and she snuck a DD gift card in there too.

My sister was also amazing! She dropped off several dinners she made that way we don't have to worry about cooking!! She makes some really good meals so I was very excited for this!

This looks like such a fun craft to do with the kiddos this month! Bonus is we already have everything on hand to do it.

I am totally crushing on the peplum look this year. I already ordered 2 peplum tankini swim tops and now want to branch out into clothes.  This shirt looks so pretty but I won't pay full price, so I'll wait and see if it goes on sale. But if you go and buy it, don't forget to shop through Ebates first and get cash back on your purchase!

  4. I am so glad to hear you're doing ok! It must be so hard not to use your stomach muscles and the no lifting would be really hard for me too. Hang in there and hopefully you will be back to feeling like yourself soon. How sweet your friend got you such a thoughtful care package and your sister is amazing with all of those meals! I am a huge ebates fan and always shop through them, how could you not?! Have a good weekend! Beautifully Candid

  6. Love the tower of markers, and the leprechaun craft. Such cute ideas! I got the Gibson peplum top that's short sleeved (the white one Sheaffer recommended awhile back) and I love it! This one looks super cute as well and more transitional. I hope you feel better soon and have a happy Friday!

  14. We love the pipsqueak markers too! Around Christmas Target had a cartwheel deal for 50% off that set. I bought all of them to stash for birthday gifts! For $7 I couldn't not buy them.
