4th of July Weekend Re-cap

We had such a fun 4th of July weekend - it's always so nice when there is an *extra* day in your weekend!

The hubs left super early on the 4th to go golfing so me and the kids hung out and decorated sugar cookies we were bringing to a party later.  They had so much fun decorating and also so much fun sneaking M&M's! It was funny to see Little Miss eat M&M's because she never has before and girlfriend LOVED them! I had to end up taking her bowls away from her :)

After nap time, we headed over to my in-laws for their 4th party - the kids were so excited to see their cousins and just run wild :)

This boy loved snaps! He kept calling them bombs - "Mom, can I do some more bombs?" Snaps, buddy, snaps.

After hanging at my in laws for a while, we headed over to my aunt & uncles - There Brayden did his first real sparkler and the hubby set off tons of illegal fireworks - #itshowwedo

Me and my handsome little man!!

At the end of the night, Ella took my phone and was taking selfies of herself, seriously so hilarious!

The next day we had Brayden's little buddy Nathan's birthday party - these boys are just too cute!

After the party, we met up with my BIL & SIL and my nieces at a local carnival - I had go to a carnival on my "to do list before baby" so I'm happy we checked that one off :)

Brayden thought he wanted to go on the Dumbo ride, turns out, he did not

These kids are just so cute!

On Sunday, we started our morning out by going on a walk/bike ride around the block.  We are really trying to get Brayden into riding his bike (some days he is, others he is not) this day he was NOT into the idea that he would ride his bike the entire time that we walked.  He sat on his bike and pedaled and cried for the first 5 minutes, which seemed like an eternity.  He was screaming that he didn't want to ride his bike - we're terrible because we didn't let him get off even at the risk of total embarrassment with our neighbors! After a while, he was really enjoying it! He even rode longer than we had planned and when he was done, he said how much fun he had.

My favorite boys!

After the ride/walk, we headed to Walmart then home so the hubs could work on our new kitchen table and I had to clean the car out.  These cute kids sat together nicely eating a snack

This girl could not be any cuter!!

We headed over to my in laws to swim and then back home for dinner - the kids got ice cream cones as their treat - literally just the cone with maybe half a scoop of ice cream, all they ever want is the cone anyway

I think this is the first time I gave Ella a whole ice cream cone of her own to hold and eat - she was not letting that thing go for anything!

Group selfie! Love Ella's "what the heck are you guys doing" face
