Weekly Recap {4.16.18}

Happy Monday! I know the weather is all anyone is talking about lately and I get it, it's just crazy! We are suppose to get some snow again today (flurries I'm sure) and it's just down right cold. But by the weekend we should be in the 50's which will be welcomed!

Our week was fun and uneventful

Monday was our errand running day and meal prepping - I had the cutest little bagel maker helper!

Tuesday was speech for Ella and hanging out at home - we made some flower paper plate crafts that turned out super cute

Tuesday after school is when Brayden had his 1st round of battle of the books competition - we were SO proud of him and his team for winning!! The finals is next week!!

Wednesday I ran out by myself while my Mom stayed with Miss A then I picked Ella up from school and we went and bought the girls' dance recital tickets. Later in the day I took everyone out for a wagon walk :)

Thursday I had Avery's preschool conference first thing then us gals headed for the zoo! I knew it was the nicest looking day we would have so the zoo was a great place to spend it. We had so much fun walking/talking and checking out the animals. Ella told me before we went she was sad she didn't have a favorite animal at the zoo so when we were heading home, she told me now her favorite is the little black monkeys (spider) and I agree, those are adorable!!

These are the best smiles I got LOL

Friday Ella went by her friends house for a playdate and I had to clean, clean clean. Me and Miss A played a little then we ran out quickly and got back home to meet Ella shortly after.

Friday night Brayden was suppose to have a baseball game but it got cancelled because of the weather. We hung out at home and Rick went out with his buddies after putting the kids down. I stayed up too late by myself watching creepy shows on the ID channel and then was scared to go to sleep LOL

Saturday the boys headed out early for baseball practice and us girls relaxed and played some Chutes & Ladders (the game that never ends lol) then I ran out to make some returns and when I got home my nephew was over (we were watching him overnight) - we loaded up all 4 kids and took them to Chuck E Cheese since again, the weather was miserable. Surprisingly it wasn't that busy and the kids  had a BALL!

We went home and made some pizzas and watched Despicable Me 3 and my Mom came over for a while. Then we played some more board games then it was time for bed. I was thinking they would never go to sleep but eventually they did.

Sunday morning was lazy, we made pancakes and bacon and chilled for a while. I got some motivation and worked out then took Brayden to a birthday party. The rest of the night was spent hanging out at home, staying warm

  1. Isn't it amazing how much can be crammed into one short week?!? Hope you get some warm weather soon! We were in the eighties all weekend, and now it's 38 degrees and pouring down rain. So over the bipolar weather!

  4. This weather. Imagine grumpy cat's face inserted right here and then a swear word or two. ;) I love that you stayed busy and made the most of it, though! Go you! Those butterfly pics are adorable. I plan on getting a zoo pass for this spring and summer and I can't wait! So cool about Brayden! Okay, but I've got to ask, how does battle of the books work? Stay warm over there!
