life lately

Life lately has been simple and amazing.  I can't say it enough how much I LOVE being a stay at home Mom.

This girl, I just love her so! She is so sweet all of the time. When I put her bed for her nap she is always so happy to be going to sleep! I love how she tucks giraffy giraffe in right with her.

We gave these 2 our old point and shoots and they have such a blast taking pictures of everything! This had me cracking up - taking pictures of eachother taking pictures :)

This girl loves to get her nails painted.  I love this bonding time with her!

The other day me and this girl had a lounge day - we stayed in our pj's all day and made brownies and then I realized we had completely missed her first gymnastics class - whoops! #momfail

This girl circled pretty much everything in the toy book (so did her brother) - it was so cute to watch her say, " I want this!" or "Avery would want this" and "Brayden would want this!"

Ella loves to play games on the computer and I am seriously impressed with her mouse maneuvering skills!!

Ella does this thing now where she asks for something - for example to play on the Ipad - if I say no, she'll say, "just one time! not two times not three times, just one time!" and instead of saying pretty please she says "really please?" It is soooo cute!

We've been spending lots of time outside because the weather is still pretty nice (we are soaking this in because it's a matter of time before it's freezing!)

My mom bought Brayden some new legos for Halloween and we spent the other night putting them together. He is so good at following the directions, it always amazes me.

The other week it was family math night for grades K-3 and I took this guy while the hubs stayed home with the girls.  We had so much fun playing tons of different math games.  The next day Brayden was still talking about how fun it was! I hope they do more of these!

I love taking these 2 grocery shopping with me - but only if it's in an awesome cart like this. I swear this is the only time I can get through a store without one of them whining :)

We've been doing school time and Ella just loves it! She always says "put Avery to bed so we can do school Mom" :)

Brayden's been asking for Jurassic World on DVD for a couple of weeks and I finally ordered it. Last Friday I told him that I had a surprise for him after school and he could hardly wait.  He kept trying to guess and the only clue I gave was that it was rectangle.  He was completely lost.  As soon as I got him off the bus that day his first words were "Do you have my surprise?" LOL this kid doesn't forget anything!

Here he is opening the package up - his face was so precious and he was so happy! He seriously thanked me 50 times.

Miss A looking oh so cute in my shades.  She couldn't get any cuter if she tried!!

Last night we took the kids to the mall just to get out of the house.  First stop was the Lego store at Brayden's request. After looking over all the lego sets, the hubs let him pick out a key chain.  He handed Brayden money and told him to go to pay for it and Brayden looked so shocked.  We have tried to get him to do this kind of thing before but he never has.  He asked us several times to stay right where we were and then he went up and bought it.  It's these little moments that make me so proud!

And that's some life lately for ya :) I hope everyone is having a great week!
