I had 2 weeks off work for Christmas and I chose to spend the holiday surrounded by my family, doing fun things each day, not really going online and checking or doing anything, and it was so nice! Although half the time I had no idea what day it was, it was still awesome and way better than working :)
We spent Christmas Eve at my Aunt's house and Christmas Day, after opening gifts at home, we headed out to my sisters to do Christmas with her family and my mom, and then back to my in laws. It was such a nice couple of days with family, and my gosh are my kiddos spoiled!! They received so many presents they don't even know what to do with, all while Mommy is trying to not have a heart attack because there is no where to put them. Need to organize ASAP!
Some pics of Christmas morning - Brayden was so cute, he ran downstairs and exclaimed "Santa came!! And he ate the cookies!!" I really have never seen the kid so excited, it was just amazing to watch it through his eyes.
Brayden's #1 toy on his list was a big sword (just like Jake) and he always said that Mommy needed a hook - looks like Santa delivered :)
What an amazing Christmas season we had and I really am so blessed to call these people my family. I love them so much and look forward to many more Christmas's!!
