Halloween 2017 Recap

Happy Monday friends! I thought I should recap Halloween here before I don't get around to it.

It was really fun this year and all kids had little parties.  Ella celebrated on Monday and she was the cutest little witch ever!! They sang a bunch of cute songs then did a little parade in the gym. I wasn't able to volunteer for her party but she said it was a lot of fun!

Tuesday was Avery's party day and I was the class volunteer so that was a lot of fun!! They also started with some songs where pretty much no on sang then they did a little parade too. During the party they didn't really do much other than their normal stuff, but there was a fun pumpkin station where you could hammer in golf tees.  That was Avery's favorite along with the little trampoline :)

We ended her party with a fun Halloween themed snack then it was home for lunch before my Mom came over to watch the girls so I could go do Brayden's class party.

Preschool parties are nothing compared to elementary school! We were all sweating by the time the party was over and it really is a lot of work to make sure the kids have fun, but of course it's totally worth it because that's what it's all about!!

We danced, played games, made crafts and more and it was a total success!!

Since the party went until the end of the day I drove Brayden home with me. We had leftover toilet paper so he wrapped Ella and I wrapped Avery up like mummies.

Then Rick got home early and we headed out trick or treating! The girls made it probably 45 minutes then took their places in the wagon and never got back out. Brayden was all about keeping going. His buddy down the street was with us and his mom and brother went home because it was freeeeezing so we took him around with us. We made it 2 hours and I was numb when we got home! But it was alot of fun and we're use to it being super cold on Halloween.

I love celebrating holidays with my kids! I know there will be a day they will trick or treat without us, so I have to savor these moments!!

  6. Ahhh! Waaaay too much cuteness in this post! I love it all! It sure was cold, wasn't it?! I swear, it's not Halloween unless it's freezing and winter coats, mittens and hats are a must. Love it, though. :)
