Weekly Recap {9.25.17}

Monday, you came way too quick this time!! We had a fun filled weekend and I really would have loved another day! Isn't that always the case though?

Here's a look back at our week & weekend - let me clue you in, it has been HOT here, I'm talking like 90''s all week/weekend!

We did some crafting, which the girls LOVED! I even made extra supplies so Brayden could craft after school ( I love that he still loves crafting!)

While Avery was in school, I took Ella to a fun class at the library after her speech lesson - girlfriend had a blast!!

Brayden came home from school and Avery was napping and poor Ella had a fever so she was resting - we went outside and played catch for a while then water balloon baseball. We topped it off with a popsicle which was the perfect way to end our outside time - it was so HOT!

I had to take the bigs for dentist appts last week and Avery got to do her "chair ride" - girlfriend is more read than her siblings ever were to go to the dentist!!

Looking cute at preschool!

Ella having fun in her gymnastics class!

The hubby and I finally got out on Thursday night to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary (which was on Tuesday but Brayden & Rick had baseball practice) - We went out to eat, played mini golf and hit up the arcade.  We had so much fun!

Friday we busted out the sprinkler and the girls were having a ball!

At night we had our Girls Night that Ella had been planning for weeks!! We ate pizza, ate way too much candy, watched Hocus Pocus and then ended our night with Karaoke!

Saturday after the girls' dance classes we headed to my in laws to swim - thank goodness they left their pool open longer this year!

Later in the day my Mom picked up the girls for a few hours and I headed to Brayden's game. It was so hot, like 94 and everyone at the game just looked miserable. Rick called it after just a few innings and we headed back to my in laws for more swimming and dinner

Sunday morning we left bright and early for the Bears game!! We started off a bar not far from the stadium and it was so fun to tailgate inside (usually we tailgate outside which is fun too but since it was so hot, this was a nice alternative!)

It was such a fun day being in the city and best part was the Bears won in OT!!!

We didn't get home until almost 7 so it was a quick bedtime routine with the kids and off to the couch we went to relax.

Such a good end to our fun filled weekend!!

  3. Aww look at sweet girl at the Dentist! And YES to all the football fun! LOVE these pictures! You're the cutest!

  4. I can't believe that your weather has been as bad as ours! Normally this time of year I'm jealous of your fall clothes and scarves and such, but y'all are right here in the same boat with us this time! We are going to the mountains in three weeks so it better get cold before then or I'm going to be so mad!

  5. It's really hot here too, which is kind of not fun! But lucky that you still get to swim!

  6. What a fun week! Lexie was reading this post with me, and loved the No Boys Allowed sign! I'm glad you had fun at the game, despite the heat. It was in the nineties all weekend (and today), so I understand!

  7. I love your girls night. That is just too cute. It has been cold here for a few days but it is supposed to warm up. I can't wait to watch Hocus Pocus. Love that movie.

  9. What a fun week! I am still amazed at how many crafts you do with the kids and I love how active you keep them. Water balloon baseball will have to take place here next summer. I love that idea! Happy belated anniversary!!! I'm glad you got to go out for some celebrating. Beautifully Candid

  11. Just reading this post I feel like it must be July instead of the end of September.... but then the football and school throw me off. I hope it cools down soon. We are supposed to finally cool off today!!!

  12. What a fun weekend and you packed a lot in! We are jealous you had the pool, my inlaws pool closed on Labor Day and we were all wishing the association kept it open longer! How fun to go to a Bears game, that looks so fun! Happy Anniversary! xoxo ERIN
