Valentine's Day Apparel

If you didn't already know it, I'm a sucker for graphic tees and cute shirts. Make it holiday themed and I'm even more about it!

Today I'm sharing some of my favorite fashion finds for Valentine's Day

For the Ladies

For the kids

I wish that Yoda shirt came in boy sizes because I know Brayden would love it! I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the black/white striped with heart elbow patches for myself since I'm volunteering for Brayden's school party.

So what about you? Do you dress in theme for the holidays?

Splurge vs Save

I think it's safe to say I'm a pretty frugal person - I love a good deal as much as the next person. That being said, there are some things that I will splurge on if I feel it's worth it.

I thought it would be fun to round up some things today and see if you would save or splurge?!

First up: duck boots. What are duck boots you ask? Just the cutest accessory to your fall/winter wardrobe! Check out these images from Pinterest. #swooning

Friday Favorites {10.16.15}

Hey hey friends! Happy Friday! I've been totally neglecting this space lately, our house has been hit with a nasty sickness and my poor Ella has croup for probably the 50th time (wish I was joking)

I saw these memes and they instantly made me laugh - Moms with sick kids for days on end need some way to cope :)

Anyway, I'm back as half heart-idly promised, to show off my next favorite Fall items....boots! I love boots and so wish my bank account allowed for more pairs because one can really never have enough. Am I right?

Boots are a great way to dress up an outfit - wearing leggings and plain top? Throw on a pair of boots and I feel like it makes the whole outfit complete.  They are just so easy to make you look so good.

Here are my 5 favorites

{ONE} Riding Boots
Everyone needs a pair of these in their closet.  They are a fall staple in my opinion! These look like an amazing pair.

via

{TWO} Rain Boots

I just bought my first pair of rain boots 2 years ago and have worn them more than I really thought I would. They are great to throw on when it's cold and nasty out and go with just about everything.

via

{THREE} Fringe Bootie

I don't own a pair of fringe booties yet but I'm eyeing these. They are so cute!

via

{FOUR} -  Chunky Heel Bootie

I have a pair of wedge booties but so want a chunky heel pair and I love these ones!

via

{FIVE} - Sweater Boots

I own a pair very similar to these and I love them.  They work well in Fall and Winter and are easy to throw on over your skinny jeans or leggings.
via

I have all of these except #4 - I need #4 in my life ASAP

That's my weekly fall favorites round up - which boots do you love?

Happy Weekend!

Fall in love with {scarves}

I think I'm going to do a Fall in love series once a week this season to highlight some of my favorite Fall clothing/accessory pieces.  What do ya'll think? I think it will be fun :) let's be serious, we'll be lucky if I keep up with this twice a month :)

First up - one of my faves - scarves.  I never use to wear scarves, they just weren't "me". But now? I LOVE scarves.  I've rounded up my 5 favorite Fall scarves.  Enjoy :)

{ONE}

I'm a sucker for anything floral and this scarf is no exception! It's just so pretty!

{TWO}

Buffalo Plaid Scarf

I blogged about this scarf the other week - mine came in the mail shortly after that and I love it so much more in person! This is a Fall must have and you can wear it through Winter as well

{THREE}

Geometric Infinity Scarf

This scarf is so adorable! A little different for my taste but when I saw it, I really liked it and thought it seemed very "Fall"

{FOUR}

Plaid infinity scarf

Just like floral, I am a total sucker for plaid! I love the colors of this scarf

{FIVE}

Mixed print infinity scarf

I love the mixed print on this one! Blue and white stripes? yes please! Floral? yes again!

There's my roundup for my favorite Fall scarves.  As you can see, I am definitely a fan of an infinity scarf vs traditional wrap arounds.  I love the look of an infinity so much more on me personally.  Plus you don't have to worry about it coming un done.

You'll also see none of these are over $25 - I would never spend more than that on a scarf and if you watch, the ones from Nordstrom will probably go on sale throughout the season.

Which one is your favorite?

spring must haves

Happy Friday!

Now that I can see past all of the melted snow, that means Spring is around the corner, I've been thinking of some must have items that I clearly need.  I thought this would be a fun post for the Friday link ups, enjoy :)

{ONE} - White Jeans

I need a new pair of white jeans for Spring after seeing so many adorable outfits on Pinterest. I can't wait to try and recreate some of these looks.

   love the scarf (colors/print), paired with the light colored top, and the accessories! Don't know if I could rock the white pant though ...

White jeans, gray top, chambray, & ankle boots. Not wearing those pants correctly with ankle boots though
source
Layer a warm vest over your chambray button up to keep you warn during the transition from winter to spring
                    source

{TWO} - Bathing suit

I know it's not summer but I need a new bathing suit for many reasons, one big one being our upcoming Disneyworld trip! This bathing suit is my new FAVORITE! I saw TJ Maxx post a picture of it on their FB page but never listed who the designer was or linked it to anywhere.  I wanted it so bad so I did what any normal person does, I searched google over and over with different key words until I finally found it! Not having this swimsuit was not an option for me. It is so cute in person and I can't wait to wear it.

6pm.com also has a bunch of other really cute one-pieces and I'm debating if I need this one too... I'm sure the hubby would say NO!

{THREE} -  Bright & Cheery scarves

I love wearing scarves in the Spring & Fall and my closet could definitely use some new fun ones. I usually get my scarves from Nordstrom because they are good quality and who doesn't love free shipping on any size order?! Here's a tip - if online shows it's out of stock, call your local Nordstrom and they can usually find you the item somewhere else and you can order over the phone.  I do this all the time.

{FOUR} - Cognac Wedges

I'm going to need some cute wedges to go with my new white jeans.  Now that I'm a Mom to 3 little ones, heels are usually out of the question, but I can still manage to rock a cute wedge. I am loving these from DSW

{FIVE} - Military Jacket

I've been contemplating on a military jacket for years now and I think it's time to bite the bullet. I just can't justify spending close to $100 on one and finding one that's cute under that price tag is sometimes hard. I rounded up a few here that are in my price range now I just need to decide!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! I know we will be spending lots of time outside since it's in the 50's here!
