Family Book Club -

I took a page out of Andrea's blog and did my own family book club last week with the kiddos.  I must say it was a huge hit and we will definitely be doing it again.


The book we read was The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and The Big Hungry Bear.

We made a strawberry craft (inspiration from here) to go along with the story and the kids had so much fun this.  Miss A especially loved putting the glue stick all through her hair :)

Ahead of time, I cut out the strawberries, stems, leaves, and the little white hearts (Brayden cut his own) This was a huge time saver and a must when doing a craft with littles. 

This kid - earlier in the day we went grocery shopping and they gave him a sticker and he chose to wear it on his forehead pretty much all day.

After our craft, we made a really yummy treat! Has anyone else had this? It's so so good and reminds me of childhood.

This girl loved the whipped topping most I would say :)

We can't wait to do this again!
