Life lately

I can't believe the New Year is here! December sure did fly by, but we made some pretty awesome memories so I'm ok with it.

It's been so so cold here this week, Brayden's school has been closed since Wednesday so we have all been going a  little stir crazy! I figured it's been a while since I dumped some photos of our life lately, so enjoy!


On New Years Day, we took little miss to her first movie (other than Wreck it Ralph which she saw when she was 2 months old) We went to see Penguins of Madagascar.

We thought she is at the age where she can sit still and watch an entire movie, with popcorn of course.

Well, we were wrong.  Once she ate her entire bag of popcorn, she was ready to blow that Popsicle joint! I took her outside while the hubs and Brayden stayed watching the movie.  She wanted to sit, then stand, then run, then repeat.  She is sooo lucky she is cute! :)

This picture cracks me up.  Everytime we go to my in laws, Brayden grabs himself a shot glass (a non glass one) and my FIL grabs a V8 fusion and Brayden pours himself *shots*  Usually they are sitting at the bar but this night they were watching Gold Rush - I'm sure I could easily be judged as parent of the year here, but this is so harmless and a time my sweet Brayden cherishes.

We took the kids to Chuck E Cheese for the first time.  They had an absolute blast!

Then this past week started potty training this one...things started off not so great, then got a little better..

Then she got sick :(  So training is on hold for the moment. Maybe I'll try again in a few weeks but I'm in no hurry after all of the accidents I cleaned up this week!

I can't forget about my sweet Avery! She started trying solids earlier this week too and it's going ok..it takes her about 20 minutes to get a teaspoon down so we need to keep at it :)

That's that - we're hoping our sweet Ella is better this weekend and hopefully Avery can get a little more efficient with her eating abilities :)

Life Lately

This girl, she just melts my heart! I could stare at her all day long

Little man is in gymnastics for the 2nd time and he is just loving it! He is doing so well listening to the teacher and learning, we are so proud!

This girl - she just cracks me up on the daily.  

A while ago we were at Old Navy and Brayden picked up a ring (a hideous one at that) and said that would be the ring he would ask his wife to marry him with one day! So here he is, practicing his proposal :)  I wish I would have bought that ring to show his future wife!

We did a cool science experiment the other week with vinegar, baking soda and glitter and then just started adding anything else we felt like.  This boy was so amazed!! Definitely something we will be doing again

I took the kids to sports night at our park district.  It started off fun for them, but then Brayden was having a hard time sharing and things went sour real fast.  But Ella? Girlfriend had the time of her life!

Still have had some nice weather for sandbox days!! ps- little girls in t-shirts are just the cutest thing, right!?

We went to the book store the other day to pick out new Halloween books and they played on this train table for 1 hour! We have a train table at home that never gets this much love.

We just celebrating this little handsome man, my nephew's 1st birthday!! Jeez how time flies, I feel like he was just born! My sis threw a great party for him and of course, he had a blast!

Iphone Dump

It's been a while since I've dumped my I-phone photos!

Snapped this one before I left for work today, Brayden loves our dog more than I can even explain.  He is always so darn sweet to him and it makes my heart melt

It's hard to tell, but Brayden is wearing my work dress boots (with heels!) He likes to put these on and walk around the house, it is so funny :)

Here are both kiddos loving on Max, he is one lucky pup, although I think some days he wouldn't mind less attention, LOL

I-Phone Dump

It's been a while since I've "dumped" some I-Phone pics and since this week has been crazy I thought this was good idea to do for today's post


Anyone remember that game Mouse Trap?!? My Mom found it at Goodwill and gave it to Brayden and now he wants to play every night, not a big deal, but this game is kind of a pain to set up, but seeing how happy he gets when he traps his mouse makes it all worth it

We took the kids to the mall last week and now that Ella is on the move she was able to get out of her carseat and actually join in the fun!

The hubby and I and some friends went downtown last weekend and saw the comedian Bill Burr - this was our 2nd time seeing him but it has been probably 6 years since the first time, OMG he is so freaking hilarious! Watch some youtube skits of his, you'll die!

The hubs said his back was hurting from leaning down and helping Brayden on his trike so he attached an extension cord so he could just pull him.... we are totall hillbillies.

Time to dump some recent I-Phone photos!



Last Friday I took both kids to the zoo all by myself - any Mom with 2 (or more) kids knows this is huge - I was a little worried but I was lucky - they were both so well behaved that it made it easy on me.

Last Saturday my Mom, sister and I took Brayden to see Monster's University - such a cute movie!

Last Sunday morning, we took a morning walk to the park - Brayden met a little boy there and they became instant friends.  Brayden kept asking the little boy questions - "Do you have a doggy?" Then he would say, "This is my doggy, Max" - so cute!

Love that I captured this moment - right here Brayden is telling his new friend "This is my baby sister, Ella" then proceeded to ask him if he had a baby sister too.

Later on Sunday I had my cousin and his fiance's wedding shower - this is me and my beautiful cousin
